A step towards independance

These pictures are taken around the Dongnae area of Busan. It's celebrating the first movements against the Japanese oppression. Freedom didn't come for many years later but it was here in Busan where it all began and the koreans started fighting.

There were many people on a planned parade that stated at a high school and had drums, balloons, lots of flags waving, street theatre and event recreations. Cheryl even made some friends and got on tv!
